Real Estate Disputes

Often, a disputed inheritance takes the form of litigation over the validity of a deed. Real estate is transferred by the terms of some sort of a deed, a grant deed, a quitclaim deed, a trustee’s deed, or the like. Just like other instruments which cause assets to pass from a decedent to another person at the time of death, a deed should be valid in all respects. If a deed suffers from any of the defects discussed above, it can be attacked and held to be invalid.
